Major works to a footbridge on Conniburrow mean the closure of path and roads, diversions will be in place.

This letter is to inform you that Ringway, the highways contractor working on behalf of Milton Keynes Council, will be carrying out bridge inspection works at Speedwell Place footbridge crossing H5 Portway.

The work is expected to start at the earliest date of 21/05/19 and should be completed within 4 working day/s, weather permitting. All the work will be carried out during the day between the hours of 09:30 and 16:30.

Please Note: If the date for the scheme changes, you will see the new date on the advanced signs on your street.

How will this affect you?

We will need to put a footbridge closure in place for the entirety of the project during the times stated above. During site working hours an absolute restriction in access is unavoidable. A diversion route will be provided.

As with any construction project there will be a degree of noise. Every possible measure at our disposal is used to reduce noise levels. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience you may experience as a result of these works and thank you for your patience whilst we improve your roads.

What are we asking you to do?

Please ensure you use the diversion route provided and do not enter the works area.

• This work is weather dependent and unforeseen circumstances can arise. Should there be any changes to the proposed start date, duration or working hours, residents will be notified on the information boards situated at both ends of the road.
