This year we are supporting the Food Bank's Reverse Advent Calendar. The ‘reverse’ advent calendar is a way of helping people with limited resources over Christmas. It involves putting one item of food or toiletries aside each day during Advent ( or now if you’re feeling keen). Just imagine if we could get 500 people collecting food boxes – that’s 12,500 extra items of food for those in need.

It’s also a great way of to show children that Christmas is about giving as well as receiving – you can also get them involved by asking them to decorate the box.

You can bring the box/bag to the Parish Office where the Food Bank will collect them. Last drop-off 17 December.
MK LITFEST is about getting people involved in the creative process, inviting them to hear from writers they might not otherwise meet, and exploring the range of cultural strands in our city.
About mental health. Booking essential, everyone welcome.

Speakers MK Mayor Sam Crooks, Healthwatch's Tracy Keech, YiS's Kat Newman and more! With music and art in the interval.
