When Vuk Nenadovic spotted a bench on the platform of Great Linford station that had fallen into disrepair, he decided to do something about it!
Mr Nenadovic noticed that the bench had seen better days and offered to repair it. Vuk collected the bench, repaired the wood, and then returned it to its original position so it could be used for many years to come.
Vuk was helped by his son, Greg, and grandson, Zak, who can be seen here testing their work!
The railway line has long since gone and the route is now part of the Redway network. The bench offers an ideal opportunity for walkers and cyclists to rest their legs and watch the world go by and was originally placed there by two members of the Green Gym volunteer group who look after the garden.
Thank you Vuk Nenadovic!
