Building a Safer Community: Neighbourhood Watch & Police Visit Redhouse Park

On Thursday, 27 March, Redhouse Park welcomed representatives from Neighbourhood Watch and Thames Valley Police as they engaged with residents about community safety.
The event highlighted how residents could take an active role in making their neighbourhoods safer.
Residents were encouraged to register at www.ourwatch.org.uk to receive vital Police Email Alerts. By simply entering their postcode, they could check if there was an existing Watch scheme nearby—or even start one themselves!
"The more members we have, the stronger our partnership with the Police and the safer our communities become. Setting up a scheme is easy, and there's plenty of volunteer support available," said Steve Lazell, Secretary, Milton Keynes Neighbourhood Watch Association.
The next community engagement event will be held in Blakelands on 6 May from 3:00 to 5:30 pm. If you’re in the area, say hello and find out more about how we can all contribute to a safer community.
