Citizens Advice Partnership with Bradwell Parish

We're excited to announce a new partnership that will enhance the support available to residents of Great Linford and Bradwell parishes. Great Linford Parish Council and Bradwell Parish Council have joined forces to bring more accessible Citizens Advice drop-in sessions to the local community. 

 

Philip Farquharson, Bradwell Parish Clerk, shared his enthusiasm for this collaboration, saying: 

"In response to the growing need for support and guidance, we have partnered with our neighbouring parish to offer Citizens Advice drop-in sessions to residents of the Parish, to complement our existing provision of booked appointments which are held in Heelands” 

 

These sessions will start in January, and will take place every Tuesday, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, at the Conniburrow Community Centre, located on Conniburrow Boulevard, Milton Keynes, MK14 7DX. No Appointment Needed – Just Drop In! 

 

Great Linford Parish Councillor, Joan Pickhaver, emphasised that the sessions are completely free for residents of both parishes, and no appointments are needed. 

 

This collaboration aims to provide accessible and valuable support to individuals dealing with various challenges. Whether you're seeking guidance on housing, financial matters, or other concerns, these drop-in sessions are an opportunity to receive advice," she explained. 

 

Cllr Pickhaver further noted that Great Linford Parish has already seen great success with its Citizens Advice sessions: 

"These drop-in services have been extremely popular with our residents. By partnering with Bradwell Parish, we’re thrilled to extend this support to even more people."

When: Starting in January 2025, Every Tuesday, 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM 

Who: Free for residents of Great Linford and Bradwell parishes
