Conniburrow Activity Zone – Coming Soon!
Great Linford Parish Council is excited to share plans for a brand-new Conniburrow Activity Zone, a free, open-access recreational space designed to bring people together, encourage physical activity, and support wellbeing for all ages.
The proposed Activity Zone will be located at the Conniburrow Community centre, an already vibrant centre that hosts a community café, youth groups, creative sessions, and a variety of wellbeing activities throughout the week. This new addition aims to complement the Hub’s existing programmes by providing an inclusive outdoor space where everyone can enjoy light physical activity and social connection.
What’s Planned
The Activity Zone will include:
• table football
• teqball
• safety flooring and fencing
The space will be free to use, encouraging people of all ages and abilities to enjoy casual games and spend time together in a welcoming environment.
Why It Matters
The Conniburrow Activity Zone will deliver lasting benefits for the community by:
• Promoting health and well-being through accessible physical activity
• Reducing social isolation and encouraging community engagement
• Supporting inclusion and interaction across all age groups
• Helping to reduce anti-social behaviour by creating positive spaces for young people
This project is funded by Milton Keynes City Council through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, with up to £30,000 awarded to Great Linford Parish Council to deliver the scheme. Construction is expected to begin early in 2026, with the Activity Zone opening in spring. Updates will be shared across our website, social media, and newsletters as the project progresses.
