Great Linford Parish Council (GLPC), proud winner of Council of the Year at the 2024 NALC Star Council Awards, is seeking a Hub Coordinator to join our team.
Serving a vibrant community of over 20,000 residents across 12 estates, GLPC is nationally recognised for its innovation, community engagement, and excellence in local governance. As a Hub Coordinator, you will make a difference in Conniburrow by helping us create a welcoming space for everyone.
About The Role

We’re looking for a Hub Coordinator to help make the Conniburrow Community Hub a welcoming, vibrant space for everyone. This role involves running the community café, planning fun workshops, supporting local services, and working with amazing volunteers. Located right in the heart of Conniburrow, our Community Hub plays a vital role in supporting local services, hosting activities, and creating opportunities for people of all ages. This role is perfect for someone who is friendly, organised, and passionate about making a difference at a neighbourhood level.
About the Role
As Conniburrow Hub Coordinator, you’ll be at the centre of everything we do. You’ll help keep the Hub running smoothly while creating a warm and inclusive environment for everyone who walks through the door.
Key responsibilities include:
Overseeing the Community Café, including food preparation and service
Planning and delivering engaging workshops and community activities
Coordinating and supporting volunteers
Ensuring the Hub remains a safe, welcoming, and well‑organised space
Supporting local services that use the Hub
Who We’re Looking For
We’re keen to hear from people who:
Have experience in community engagement or service delivery
Are approachable, organised, and confident working with a wide range of people
Understand (or are willing to learn) food hygiene standards
Are creative, flexible, and responsive to community needs
Most importantly, you’ll care about people and enjoy creating spaces that bring communities together.
