Dog Bins Quick Update

Work Has Begun on New Dog Bins!
Thanks to your input earlier this year, Great Linford Parish Council (GLPC) has started installing upgraded and new dog bins across the parish! These improvements aim to address the dog waste hotspots you highlighted and make our open spaces cleaner and more enjoyable for everyone.
Here’s what’s happening:
Larger bins are replacing smaller ones to increase capacity.
New bins are being installed in high-demand locations like Great Linford Manor, Railway Walk, and Blakelands Lake.
Underutilised bins are being relocated to better serve residents.
While the new bins are a positive step forward, within just 48 hours of installation, one of the bins was already graffitied. To the artist: If you’re passionate about making a difference in your community, why not channel your creativity by joining our Youth Café at Conniburrow Community Centre or the Creative Space at Conniburrow Hub? Let’s work together to create something amazing for Great Linford Parish!
Look out for our full project update on the GLPC website in January.

Remember, it’s every dog owner’s responsibility to bag it, bin it, or take it home! You can use any dog or litter bin to dispose of waste.
