free festive fun for families
Ensuring the festive magic is accessible to everyone
For many families, a visit to see Santa can be an expensive Christmas treat — but this December, Great Linford Parish Council and Great Linford Community Hub are ensuring the festive magic is accessible to everyone.

The Great Linford Festive Fayre will take place on Saturday 13 December, offering an afternoon of free and family-friendly fun in the heart of the community. Children can enjoy a free visit to see Santa, complete with a gift for every child, as well as free biscuit decorating, live music, and a variety of stalls selling food, crafts, and seasonal goods.
The event promises to bring local residents together to celebrate the season, support small traders, and share in the warmth of community spirit.
Tommy Hayes, Community Liaison Officer at Great Linford Parish Council, said:

“We know that the cost of living continues to put pressure on many families, and simple festive experiences like visiting Santa can quickly become out of reach. That’s why it’s so important for us to create free, inclusive events like the Festive Fayre — so every child can share in the joy of Christmas, and every family can feel part of their community. This event is about connection, celebration, and kindness — the true spirit of the season.”

The Festive Fayre is open to everyone and will take place at Great Linford Local Centre from 12 PM to 4 PM on Saturday 13 December.
