Litter Pick in Redhouse Park

On Saturday 1st June, 26 volunteers gathered in Redhouse Park for our Community Litter Pick.
The volunteers scoured the streets and picked up 60kg of rubbish. After the litter pick, volunteers enjoyed well-deserved refreshments.
Eirwen Tagg, Parish Manager at Great Linford Parish Council explained βIn addition to helping clear the local area of litter, our community litter picks are great social occasions, an opportunity to meet neighbours and enjoy delicious refreshments.β
Great Linford Parish Council hosts Community Litter Picks from March to October, on the first Saturday of the month.
Our next litter pick will be in Pennyland and Bolbeck Park. Everyone is welcome, and all equipment will be provided.
