New Bleed Kits
New Bleed Kits and Defibrillators Installed Across the Parish
Great Linford Parish Council is taking a major step towards community safety by installing new defibrillators and bleed kits across key locations. These vital emergency resources were installed in February 2025 using Section 106 funding and will be fully available for use by the end of the month.

Where Are They Located?
To ensure maximum accessibility, the following locations now have both defibrillators and bleed kits:
- Parish Office
- Conniburrow Community Centre
- Marsh Drive Sports Pavilion (upgraded with new equipment)
- Giffard Park Community Centre

In addition, three extra bleed kits have been placed inside:
- High Street Pavilion
- Great Linford Community Hub
- Marsh Drive Community Centre
(These are unavailable 24/7 but will be registered with emergency services.)

How to Access Them in an Emergency
All defibrillators and publicly accessible bleed kits are in locked cabinets but available 24/7. If you need to use one:
1. Call 999 – The emergency operator will guide you and provide the access code.
2. Follow the step-by-step instructions included with the device. No prior training is required.

Defibrillators Installed
Why Are These Important?
- Defibrillators increase survival rates in cardiac arrests.
- Bleed kits provide immediate care for severe bleeding before emergency services arrive.
Once fully registered, emergency services will have these locations in their database to direct callers efficiently.
