Proposal to Build Milton Keynes' First Padel Tennis Club
Residents of Great Linford Parish could soon be at the forefront of one of the fastest-growing sports in the world, as a proposal has been made to build Milton Keynes' first Padel Tennis Club at Marsh Drive in Great Linford.

A Dynamic Sport That Blends Elements of Tennis and Squash
Padel, a dynamic sport that blends elements of tennis and squash, is gaining popularity for its fast pace, fun gameplay, and accessibility to players of all ages and skill levels.

The proposed Padel Club will feature six outdoor courts, with five of them covered by a canopy to ensure that players can enjoy the sport regardless of the weather conditions. This design not only enhances the playing experience but also encourages year-round participation. Additionally, the plans encompass essential facilities such as changing rooms, toilets, and lockers, as well as a club shop and a social space where players can relax and connect with fellow enthusiasts. The aim is to create a vibrant community hub for Padel tennis, fostering a welcoming environment for players of all levels.

About the Game
Padel is great for all ages and abilities, it’s suitable for children and adults, men and women. It is great for people who want to be socially active through sports and is popular with people who have no racket sports experience.

Benefit for the Community
MK Padel will reserve 6 hours of court time every weekday free of charge during the summer holidays so that the community can enjoy the benefits of playing padel
