Alongside traditional contact tracing, the new app is able to notify users if they come into contact with someone who later tests positive for coronavirus. The app can be downloaded from www.covid19.nhs.uk and allows people to report symptoms, order a coronavirus test, and check in to venues by scanning a QR code. 
Victims First is managed by the Police and Crime Commissioner for the Thames Valley. It is available across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire and provides free emotional and practical support to victims and witnesses of any crime or abuse regardless of when it took place, or whether it has been reported to the police.
