On Thursday 4 May 2023, local elections are taking place across England. This year, for the first time you'll need to take photo ID to the polling station to be able to vote.
If you don’t have an accepted form of photo ID, you can apply now for a free voter ID called a Voter Authority Certificate.
The deadline to register to vote in the 2023 local elections is 11.59pm on Monday 17th April.
The deadline to apply for a Voter Authority Certificate for the 2023 local elections is 5pm on Tuesday 25 April.
If you don't have internet access or need help in obtaining your Voter Authority Certificate you can come to Great Linford Parish Office on Monday 17th April from 1-4 pm and we will be able to assist you. You will need to bring your National insurance number.
