We’re on the lookout for a stunning image to feature on the front cover of our Summer Parish Magazine – and it could be yours!
Whether you're a keen photographer with a top-notch camera or just love capturing everyday moments on your phone, we want to see your best shots of Great Linford Parish. Our Photo Competition is now open, and everyone is welcome to enter – you don’t even need to live in the parish or be a professional photographer.
What we’re looking for:
A fabulous image taken in Great Linford Parish
Photos that capture the essence of summer and the beauty or community spirit of our local area
Locations can include: Blakelands, Bolbeck Park, Conniburrow, Downhead Park, Downs Barn, Giffard Park, Great Linford, Neath Hill, Pennyland, Redhouse Park, Tongwell, and Willen Park
Whether it's a sunrise over the canal, children playing in the park, or a quiet moment in nature, we’d love to see what inspires you about the place we call home.
Closing date for entries is Monday 10 June 2025.
Please email your image to communications@great-linford.gov.uk including your name, contact details, and a brief description of where the photo was taken.

Photo Competition – Terms and Conditions
1. Eligibility: The competition is open to everyone. You do not need to live in Great Linford Parish to enter.
2. Image Requirement: Photos must be taken within the boundaries of Great Linford Parish, which includes Blakelands, Bolbeck Park, Conniburrow, Downhead Park, Downs Barn, Giffard Park, Great Linford, Neath Hill, Pennyland, Redhouse Park, Tongwell, and Willen Park.
3. Ownership: The photographer retains full ownership and copyright of their submitted image.
4. Permission to Use: By entering the competition, the photographer grants Great Linford Parish Council (GLPC) permission to use the image:
On the cover of the Summer Parish Magazine (printed and digital formats)
On GLPC’s website and official social media channels
In promotional materials related to the competition or the parish magazine
5. Credit: The photographer will be credited wherever the image is used.
6. Permission for People in Photos: If your photo includes identifiable people, you must have their permission (or a parent/guardian’s permission if they are under 18) to submit the image for public use.
7. Closing Date: The competition closes on Monday 10 June 2025. Entries received after this date will not be considered.
8. Selection: The winning image will be selected by GLPC. The decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
9. Submission: Please email your image to communications@great-linford.gov.uk including your name, contact details, and a brief description of where the photo was taken.
