It has been announced by Buckingham Palace that H.M The Queen has passed away.
The Parish Council and the people of this Parish are deeply saddened to hear the news of the death of H.M. The Queen.
A Book of Condolence has been opened at the Milton Keynes City Council Civic offices from Friday 9 September.
A designated area has been marked out at the Milton Keynes Rose for those who wish to pay their respects by laying flowers. The City Council requests that flowers are taken out of cellophane wrappers where possible and that no naked flames or candles are left.
St. Andrews Church will be open over the days to come so that the Church may be a place of prayer, reflection, and comfort at this very sad time for all in our community. There will also be a book of condolence that will be available to everyone. Rev Canon Chuks Iwuagwu and Rev David Lewis will jointly lead a special service at 10 am this coming Sunday which will be live-streamed to https://www.facebook.com/StAndrewsGL
Our offices and services will be closed on Friday 9th September. As a mark of respect, all council meetings will be suspended during the 10 days of mourning and events during this period will be cancelled.
Sincere condolences go to family members.
