IMPORTANT ROAD CLOSURE INFORMATION
To: The Users of Tower Drive
Re: Carriageway Resurfacing Works
Ringway are the Service Providers working on behalf of Milton Keynes Council who will be carrying out resurfacing works on Tower Drive, Neath Hill. From Tower Crescent to Brooksward School.
Work is expected to start at the earliest date of 11/06/20 and should be completed within 4 working day/s, weather permitting. All the work will be carried out during the day between the hours of 09:30 and 16:30. The road will be open outside of these hours.
Please Note: If the date for the scheme changes, you will see the new date on the advanced signs on your street.
How will this affect you?
We will need to put a road closure in place for the entirety of the project during the times stated above. During site working hours, the site team will endeavour to maintain access to adjoining properties, schools and businesses - however there will be stages of the work in which an absolute restriction in access for a short period is unavoidable.
Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times. Traffic management operatives will assist and advise those requiring access. A short diversion route will be in place for through traffic, and will be clearly signposted.
As with any construction project there will be a degree of noise. Every possible measure at our disposal is used to reduce noise levels. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience you may experience as a result of these works and thank you for your patience whilst we improve your roads.
What are we asking you to do?
Please make sure that you move any vehicles out of the works area before the works starts. We would ask that deliveries scheduled to arrive within the works times are re-scheduled where possible.
To maintain safety when accessing your property in the closure, you are requested to approach the works with caution at low speed and follow any instructions given by the site operatives.
• This work is weather dependent and unforeseen circumstances can arise. Should there be any changes to the proposed start date, duration or working hours, residents will be notified on the information boards situated at both ends of the road.
• Neither Milton Keynes Council nor their contractors will approach you offering to carry out works to your property. Any cold calling of this nature by people claiming to represent Milton Keynes Council or Ringway should be reported to ourselves using the number at the top of this page.
