Winter can be a difficult time for people, in addition to increased social isolation that this season can bring, this winter will see the added pressure of financial difficulties due to the rise in heating costs. Great Linford Parish Council wanted to offer people a warm space and an opportunity to get something to eat and drink. This has become a real community effort and has been made possible by working with many community partners. 
 
Monday 
Breakfast and Banter from 09:30 until 12:30, serving breakfast and hot drinks. This is held at the Great Linford Parish Office, 1 St Leger Court MK14 5HA.  
 
Tuesday 
Conniburrow Community Hub from 09:30 until 13:00 at the 37 Conniburrow Boulevard, MK14 7DX. Free Wellbeing cafe, Activities and bi-weekly Citizen's Advice sessions. 
Great Linford Social Club from 12:00 until 16:00 at the Great Linford Parish Office, 1 St Leger Court MK14 5HA. Activities, board games, arts and crafts and a hot meal.  
 
Wednesday 
Milton Keynes Art Centre offers free hot drinks with snacks, activities and arts & crafts. This is held at the Arts Centre, Parklands, Great Linford, MK14 5DZ from 10:00 until 16:00. 
Coffee on the Corner is a free community café held at the Salvation Army, 21 Ramsons Ave, Conniburrow from 10:30 until 12:30. 
The Cross and Stables Church in Downs Barn is open from 12:30 until 15:30, offering free hot drinks and snacks. 
 
Thursday 
Great Linford Community Hub is open for hot drinks and cakes from 10:00 until 16:00 at 2A St Leger Court MK14 5HA. 
 
Friday 
The Quaker Centre offers free hot drinks with snacks, activities and arts & crafts from 11:00 until 17:00. Downhead Park MK15 9BH 
Great Linford Community Hub hot drinks and cakes from 13:00 until 16:00 at 2ASt Leger Court MK14 5HA.
