Hello, and welcome to our weekly update.
This is the place where we bring you the news events and what’s on in the parish.
Transcript from the video
Let's jump straight in and let's start with some news.

Have you seen the amazing murals in detail yet? A massive thank you to Milton Keynes College students for their work. Have a look at some of these before and after pictures. They have really transformed the area. A massive thank you to everybody involved in that project.

Also in Neath Hill, Milton Keynes Council is proposing to put double yellow lines around junctions and pedestrian crossings. There's a link available on our website on Facebook and Twitter that will take you straight to the place at Milton Keynes, Council if you want to have your say about those proposals. This something that residents have been calling for a long time.

Monday, Breakfast and Banter, a bacon roll, hot drink, great conversation, what a way to start the week. And then there's the community fridge, and the community hub is open this afternoon as well.

As I said last week, the community fridge it's not means-tested. It is not a food bank. This is about preventing good foods from going to landfill. And as we know, the community hub is open for hot drinks and, delicious cakes all for a donation.

On Tuesday, we have the Citizens Advice Bureau drop-in session. Any problems with housing, debt, money, consumer issues, family law, or benefits, the Citizens Advice Bureau are the people you need. Any resident of Great Linford Parish, which is 12 estates, can access that drop-in session, just come along to Great Linford Parish Council office between 10 am and 1 pm. No need to make an appointment.

Also on Tuesday, the Community Hub is open from 12 till 4 pm, and the Community Larder is open from 11 am to 1 pm on Downs Barn.
The Community Larder is different from a community fridge. It's a membership base scheme, where surplus food is saved from landfill and distributed to members. There's a £10 one-off joining fee, and then £3 per week for individuals or £7 per week for a family. There's a real cost-saving benefit here.
If you want to find out more pop along and have a look, the volunteers at the Community Larder will love to tell you more about the scheme and how it works. And you can see for yourself the benefit that you can gain by being a member.

Also, at the Community Law that this week is Terrence Higgins Trust. It's an advice drop-in for sexual health. You don't need to be a member of the community larder to drop in and speak to someone.

This week, you can join the Parks Trust, St. Andrew's Church, and the Friends of Great Linford Manor Park at the Five Ways Café, this is a dementia-friendly community cafe. In addition to a cuppa and chat, you can have a walk around Great Linford Manor Park and the village

Wednesday
The Community Fridge in Conniburrow is open from 5 till 7 pm, and the Wellbeing Café is open from 10.30 am till 2 pm at the Salvation Army in Conniburrow. The Wellbeing Cafe is completely free. You can get a Panini, a hot drink, great conversation, and a very warm welcome.

Also, Wednesdays are Ranger Day. This will take place Downhead Park, meeting at Windrush Close at 11 am and finishing at 1 pm.
The event is open to everyone. Come along, they'll have litter picking equipment to hand, just remember, good shoes, no flip flops open-toed sandals.

On Thursday, the Great Linford Community Hub opens.
Friday, Great Linford Community Fridge, and the Community Hub are open. Conniburrow Community Fridge is also open.
