end of term youth party
EPIC End of Term Celebration at Conniburrow Community Centre
The End of Term Summer Party at Conniburrow Community Centre on Friday 18th July was a fantastic success. Over 130 young people aged 11–17 joined us for a high-energy evening filled with fun, connection, and community spirit.

The event offered a brilliant mix of activities, including sumo suits, zorb football, combat archery tag, football, basketball, dodgeball, table tennis, and table football. The laughter and enthusiasm throughout the evening created a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere that everyone enjoyed.
This event wouldn't have been possible without the support of our amazing partners:

Pulse Youth, who run the Conniburrow Youth Café every Friday during term time, brought their energy and enthusiasm.
Great Linford Community Hub generously prepared and served a delicious selection of cakes, cookies, and fruit pots.
HCWA and ADF kept everyone well-fed with freshly cooked burgers and hot dogs, which were very well received!
A special shout-out to Deputy Mayor Paul Trendall and Youth Mayor Zara Butt for taking the time to attend the celebration.

Tommy Hayes, Community Liaison Officer, Great Linford Parish Council -
“This event was a great reminder of how important it is to create safe, inclusive spaces for young people to connect, have fun, and celebrate their achievements. The energy and positivity throughout the day were incredible. Huge thanks to all the youth workers, staff, and volunteers who helped make the event such a success!”

A quick reminder:
The Conniburrow Youth Café is now closed for the summer break and will reopen in September. Stay tuned – we’re already looking forward to welcoming everyone back!
