Get Involved!

Volunteering can provide a healthy boost to your self-confidence, self-esteem and life satisfaction. Doing good for others and the community, provides a natural sense of accomplishment as well as a sense of pride and identity.
Parish Guardian

Parish Guardians are residents who care about THEIR community and get involved WITH US AND OUR PARTNERS TO
improve the environment and tackle issues identified.

If you would like to join in with making our environment better, sign up to be a Parish Guardian. Report issues you spot whilst out and about in the parish - issues such as antisocial behaviour ie graffitti, criminal damage, areas of excessive dog mess or litter, people you witness who don’t pick up their dog’s foul, faulty street lights / play equipment, untaxed vehicles, landscaping problems – to name but a few!

Get involved in community events, help us to find solutions to the problems you encounter, let us know what we all can do to make things better in our community.

If you spot a problem whilst out and about, you can contact us to help resolve the issue.

Would you like to become a Parish Guardian? Complete the form, we will send you a GDPR form for completion, that's all it takes! There are no meetings to attend, you don’t have to commit to anything. You will receive emails about our tidy-up days and events, just help out when and if you can.

Parish Councillors

By becoming a parish councillor you become someone your community will look to for help, guidance and support – a community leader with the power to influence decisions for the benefit of the people you serve. Seeing your community change for the better, as a result of decisions you have helped make, is something that can give you a sense of achievement and pride.

If you would like to find out more about either role, please complete the form below.
