ROCLA ARTIST CALL OUT

The ROCLA Art Project Board are excited to announce they are looking for an artist for Phase 4 of the Redhouse Park Project. 

 

Great Linford Parish Council wishes to commission an artist to oversee and deliver a series of two or more bespoke artworks within an extension to the Redhouse Park housing development, Milton Keynes to be completed in 2024. 

 

The aim of the project is to develop a sense of community in this new development and form a link to the existing development which is the home of the ROCLA Art Trail. 

 

The artist must demonstrate experience of collaborating with other artists and involving communities to develop artwork that will be integrated into and help enhance the feel and look of the whole estate and where possible, encourage community involvement and ownership. 

 

The artist must have a track record in public art design and production and be able to apply their ideas to the site as a whole and the chosen location in particular, using a range of appropriate materials and which comply with Health and Safety legislation.
